Hello Larry,I was searching the web for a photo to use for a blog I am wrtinig after returning from a six day oar trip down the canyon from Lee's Ferry to Bright Angel Trail. I too listen to what the earth has to share with me, and share it did especially the smooth water entry into the turbulence and with presence, skill and thrill, following that current through and shooting out into the smooth water once again. So much like the river of life, that turbulence, those rapids, that we can hear whispers of from afar knowing that, as we continue down the river, we will experience. How we experience the turbulence makes all the difference in the world and in our health and well being. We can be afraid of it, we can embrace it in all its glory, we can remain conscious of the current and where to steer to keep it, or go unconscious and find ourselves spinning endlessly in the froth, drowning in a hole, or thrown from our craft to emerge banged and broken. We can attempt to stay where we are, paralyzed by fear or enter fully and freely for the thrill of learning, loving, and navigating as best we've learned how. What fun. I've lost myself in the swirls and waves of the whitewater once again. Anyway, may I have permission to use your photo for the blog post I am working on? I am an experienced river rat actively and professionally coaching others who are interested in honing their skills at navigating through life. This particular blog is entitled the healing code as I am often coaching myself as well as others on the river running through the canyons of health and wellness. Please let me know if I may use your wonderful picture. I offer you a complementary coaching session in return! On whatever Thank you for capturing the brilliance of experience and the voices of the elements. Namaste
